
Meet Rachel Jones
Rachel is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #153959) and Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #18956) under the supervision of Laura Firestone (LMFT #49161). She supports both individuals and relationships. Rachel has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). She continues to pursue training in therapies that build flourishing, belonging, and connection.

Rachel’s Specialties
Rachel’s areas of interest include working with couples & relationships, individuals, and groups. She works from a place of cultural humility and queer-affirming care, and has experience with high-pressure careers, neurodiversity, life transitions and grief. Her evidence-based, relational therapy is grounded in collaboration with her clients and attuned responsiveness to their individual experiences.
Professional Background
In addition to training in EFCT and AEDP, Rachel is an active member of the Personalized Psychotherapy Institute, which focuses on how cutting-edge academic research can be applied to make therapy better. Rachel’s first career as an attorney gives her a deep understanding of conflict and its transformative possibilities. She earned degrees from Williams College and Harvard Law School as well as her MS in counseling psychology from Dominican University of California.
Personal Interests
Rachel enjoys swimming in the ocean, getting out in nature with her dog, and relaxing over needlework.
