
Meet Meridith Hirschaut
Meridith is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #140431) practicing under the supervision of Laura Firestone (LMFT #49161). She has experience working with children, teens, families, adults, and groups in outpatient community mental health and crisis counseling. Meridith earned her B.S. in Accounting at California State University, Chico, and her M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC).

Meridith’s areas of clinical interest include couples & relationships, parenting, grief, trauma, anxiety, life/career transitions, and depression.
BACKGROUND & PERSONAL INTERESTS
Meridith uses evidenced-based theoretical modalities including emotionally focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. She has completed the intense training to become an advanced EFT therapist for couples. Meridith tailors each theoretical framework and approach to each client’s unique needs.
Meridith loves barre, yoga, and trips to the mountains or the beach. She loves spending time outdoors with her family and their dog, Bubba.
